  95. This package contains My Life, by JRE Enterprises. This document
  96. contains only a brief description of the package and its features, along
  97. with instructions for its installation.  After unzipping My Life, view
  98. INSTALL.WRI for additional installation instructions.  This release of
  99. My Life requires the JRE Common Files package to be installed.
  100.  
  101. My Life is a personal diary, scrapbook, and word processor.  The
  102. scrapbook can be used to store and play movies and sounds.  Pictures can
  103. be stored and viewed, too.  Multiple My Life databases can be created,
  104. one for each member of the family.  Each database can be password
  105. protected.  A full-functioning word processor is included for writing
  106. letters.  Requires VBRUN300.DLL and Windows 3.1.

  108. My Life is a shareware program.  This evaluation version includes all
  109. features of the program, and is not crippled in any way.  You may use it
  110. for up to 30 days, without charge.  If you like the program, and wish to
  111. continue its use after this evaluation period, you are required to pay
  112. for the program (see REGISTER.WRI for more details).  Any fee you may
  113. have paid to others (disk vendors, dealers, etc.) to obtain this
  114. evaluation version was a fee for their copying and distribution
  115. services, rather than a payment for continued use of the program.

  133. Windows configurations to be saved and restored!  Writer's Cramp is a

  211. Users of My Diary V2.0 or earlier:
  212.  1.  My Life V2.1+ changes the database structure used by My Diary V2.0
  213.  and earlier.  My Life V2.1+ will automatically modify any existing My
  214.  Diary V2.0 or earlier database to the new structure.  We recommend that
  215.  you install My Life V2.1+ into a different directory and copy the
  216.  following files from your My Diary V2.0 or earlier directory to the My
  217.  Life V2.1+ directory: *.LDB, *.MDB, and *.INI files.  After you have
  218.  verified that the databases where converted correctly, you can delete
  219.  the My Diary V2.0 or earlier directory.
  220.  2.  My Life now supports the importing of BMP, GIF, PCX, and TGA
  221.  picture formats into the picture scrapbook.  Unfortunately, any DIB,
  222.  ICO, or WMF file stored with My Diary will not be displayed with My
  223.  Life.  BMP files are unaffected.

  225. To install My Life, run SETUP.EXE.
  226.  If you are using a windows shell program other than Program Manager or
  227.  Norton Desktop, you may have to manually create groups and group items
  228.  for My Life.  If you have a previous release of My Life installed, we
  229.  recommend installing into a new directory.  We recommend creating a
  230.  group MY LIFE.  In group MY LIFE, create four items:
